UPCOMING sERMONS

  • May 19, 2024:
    Title: "The Disruptive Holy Spirit"
    Scripture: Acts 2:1-21

This Sunday is Pentecost! It is the day where we commemorate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church.

As much as we celebrate the Holy Spirit, churches and Christians do not always have a comfortable relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is because the Holy Spirit is disruptive. He disrupts our systems, our plans, our routines, and our comfort zones. He challenges us and invites us to step out into new horizons of faith. He gives us the impulse to connect with people we might not naturally connect with. He wants to push the boundaries of God's kingdom further and further out, to embrace more and diverse peoples. Not all of us can handle this. But for those who welcome the Holy Spirit and get on board with his leadership, He becomes a force for spiritual growth and fruitfulness that is supernatural and divine.
