Self-Care Ministry last Wednesday

“The one with being knit together in love…and Mafia”

Where: Kardia church at our Fireside Lounge

1637 Butler Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90025

What: A time to extend our fellowship time with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

For: everyone! Especially those of you who are looking for new friends.

Why: Self-care is essential for our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. This ministry is geared towards providing the space to share and socialize in a faith-based gathering for those of us who want to make new friends.

What to expect: We will be sharing our “Roses and Thorns” as our check-in (with refreshments that will be provided), followed with a round (or two!) of the game, Mafia

We will have our New Friends self-care ministry every 2nd Wednesday of each month. Next month’s meet up in June will be:

“The one with praise night and ramen part 3”

Last Sunday, after the church service, we had the pleasure of enjoying delicious tacos from a taco stand. This Sunday, we will have the taco stand again, and we are excited to see that they will be serving both tacos and mulitas. We invite everyone to come and join us, bring your appetite, and enjoy this wonderful feast together as a community. It is a great opportunity to bond with one another, share stories, and strengthen our sense of fellowship and unity.

Last Sunday, we participated in the holy communion service at Kardia church. The sacred ritual was a significant moment of spiritual connection and reflection, as we shared in the symbolic breaking of bread and drinking of wine, representing the body and blood of Christ.
